Mark Adam Goff was born in Edmond Oklahoma during 1961 above a movie theater. His middle name Adam comes from his mother's fondness for the character Adam Cartwright in the ever popular Bonanza tv series at the time of his birth. Mark did not take up acting until late in life while finishing a full time career. Mark now has over 17 years of experience acting for film and screen. He has worked on a variety of productions, including TV shows and films. Some of the more notable actors that Mark has worked with include Martin Landau, Travis Fimmel, Barry Corbin, Casey Affleck, John Rys-Davies, Diego Boneta, Alexandria Dowling, Famke Janssen, Bella Thorne, Chris Kattan, James Cromwell, Rex Linn, Doug Jones and Madelyn Deutch,
As stated, Mark took up acting late in his life (45) while finishing a full time career. He is still largely an unknown quantity in the acting world. He has become a skilled method actor with a range of acting styles, from comedic to dramatic. A diverse character actor that played killer Steven Avery for the REELZ channel tv show Murder Made Me Famous, the small town sheriff Cassidy in the film Reverence, the gritty auto shop foreman Dallas in the film Out Of Exile, the alcoholic lead Thomas Cooper in the film Substance, the dementia riddled Uncle John in the film The Long Drive Home, the lead homeless man in No Less Than A Man, a gun slinger in the film Pale Door, the mob boss Franklin Venables in the film Prone to Violence, a high school principal in the film Monsters, the eccentric lead Henry Bonneville in the film The Foreverlands, a redneck, a cowboy, a mad scientist, a security guard, a park ranger, a concert pianist judge and a college professor, just to name a few. He has played lead, supporting and day player roles. Always eager to take on new challenges and push himself in new roles as an actor.
